Experience:
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, Health Economics, Applied Statistics, or related field).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dedicated research role within an NGO, INGO, or research institution.
Proven track record in designing, coordinating, and executing quantitative and qualitative field research projects.
Strong proficiency in data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, REDCap, SPSS, Stata and advanced MS Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bengali, with demonstrated ability to write clear research reports.

Job Summary:
The Research Officer will support the design, implementation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research activities. The role is responsible for collecting, managing, and interpreting field and clinical data, and producing actionable insights that contribute to TLMI-B’s strategic objectives and evidence-based research interventions.
Responsibilities:
Research Design & Planning: Plan and develop research protocols, defining objectives, methodologies, sampling techniques, and realistic implementation timelines.
Data Collection & Tool Management: Design, configure, and manage digital data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, REDCap) for surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), and field studies.
Data Analysis & Synthesis: Perform statistical and qualitative data analysis using standard software (e.g., SPSS, R) and translate complex data sets into meaningful trends, patterns, and insights.
Reporting & Dissemination: Prepare high-quality research reports, policy briefs, summaries, and data visualizations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ethical Compliance: Ensure all research activities strictly adhere to institutional ethical standards, informed consent protocols, and safeguarding guidelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with health, advocacy, inclusive development, and operations teams to identify research needs and provide technical support in study design and data management.
Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of emerging research methodologies, digital tools, and best practices to enhance organizational research capacity.
