• Applicants should have very good communication skills in Bengali & English with IT knowledge. 
• Ability to handle students and guardians with proper information.
• Capable to maintain a good relationship with students/parents & local/intl. agents.
• Ability to take challenges to explore new opportunities and must have capability to work under pressure based on target.
• The Counsellor should have Patience, time knowledge and teamwork capabilities to reach marketing goals.
• The applicant has to be prepared to go live on Facebook and shoot videos for Social Media as well if needed.
• Applicants need to understand the queries received via Email properly and must know how to reply to it correctly.
• Have to reply in messenger, WhatsApp, IMO, Viber and must note every detail regarding the prospective student and parents after filtering and upload data to our online system. Convince clients by telemarketing with motivational capabilities.
• Maintain Strong communication with our China office to provide service and information for our Students/Agents.

Digi Edu Pro is an education consultancy for global students and Agents specializing in Study in China, helping students explore universities, scholarships, admission opportunities, and the complete application process.

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Overseas Education Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will counsel prospective students and parents, understand their academic goals, recommend suitable programs/universities, and guide them through the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding overseas study opportunities, particularly in China.

• Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, budgets, and career goals.

• Recommend suitable universities, programs, scholarships, and study options.

• Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, accommodation, and other relevant information.

• Handle student enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, WeChat, and in-person meetings.

• Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into applications.

• Assist students with application forms and required documentation.

• Coordinate with the admission/application team and partner universities.

• Keep students updated regarding admission status, offers, scholarship results, and other application developments.

• Maintain accurate records of student enquiries and applications in the company's CRM/system.

• Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.

• Build positive relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.

• Participate in education fairs, seminars, school visits, and promotional activities when required.

• Stay updated about university admission policies, scholarships, deadlines, and new programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

• Experience in education counselling, overseas admission, sales, or customer service is preferred.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of English; Bangla communication skills would be an advantage.

• Ability to communicate professionally with students and parents.

• Good computer skills, including MS Office and online communication platforms.

• Strong follow-up, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
