About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and highly motivated Research Executive to join our team who will contribute in our upcoming projects. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals with a background in Fisheries, Marine Fisheries, or the Blue Economy to contribute to landmark coastal and marine development initiatives in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

· Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research on fisheries, marine resources, and blue economy aspects for related projects.

· Data Management: Collect, compile, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from field surveys and desk research.

· Field Work: Participate in field visits to coastal and marine areas for data collection.

· Best Practices & Policy Review: Review national and international best practices, policies, and frameworks related to sustainable fisheries and blue economy development.

· Reporting: Prepare high-quality research reports, policy briefs, and stakeholder presentations.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Support liaison and coordination with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and local communities.

· Project Support: Maintain organized project documentation, assist with data management systems, and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by project leads.

Educational Requirements:

· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Fisheries, Marine Fisheries, Marine Science, or Blue Economy (or closely related field).

· Minimum 1st Class/Division or GPA 5.00 (or equivalent) in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:

· Fresher or 2-3 years of relevant experience

· Fresher’s are encouraged to apply as well

Skills & Competencies:

· Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative and qualitative research and problem-solving skills.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written proficiency in both English and Bangla.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge AI applications and  data analysis tools is an added advantage.

· Domain Knowledge: Understanding of marine/coastal resource management and sustainable blue economy frameworks.

· Soft Skills: High self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage tight deadlines, and perform under pressure.
