A renowned 100 % export based Knit Composite Garments Industry is looking for potential candidate as Deputy Manager / Manager - Commercial for performing Import related job activities at Head Office, Gulshan, Dhaka.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing Import related different job activities of the company independently. He will execute Commercial Import related all documentations, correspondences, banking, C & F, LC, UD, UP, and BGMEA related works very professionally and timely.

Major Job Responsibilities of the position are as follows:

• Lead and guide the Commercial Import Team members to execute their jobs successfully

• Checking terms and conditions of the given PI carefully whether the goods description, HS Code are correct and available in our bond license.

• Setting BB L/C terms & conditions as per requirements of country`s import policy and our policy.

• Preparation of all types of local/foreign BTB and cash L/Cs.

• Perform Import related and UD/UP related all tasks.

• Preparation of documents/papers for BGMEA/CCI  & E certificate Bank guarantee in order to release of Capital, Machinery/Spare Parts and undertaken.

• Closely monitor Import Delivery and follow up to avoid any issues.

• Import release/Delivery as per factory urgency, in-house with avoiding any type of demurrage/extra charges, as well as payment follow-up as per L/C terms.

• Strongly Handle Transport, Forwarder, C & F and Courier.

• Negotiation with suppliers for commercial issues like L/C clause, Payment, acceptance, Payment, etc.

• Monitoring Spare parts, Machinery, Undertaken/indemnity on time release under SRO facility.

• Liaison with Bank regarding Bill of Entry overdue extension and on time LC opening

• Monitoring everyday fund in various lien banks and synchronising fund for payment of BTB L/C, Cash L/C and term loan.

• Perform any other jobs as and when assigned by the top management.
