Experience:
Professional certifications in Electrical Maintenance or related areas required.
At least 12 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in power plants, particularly with MAN engines and cogeneration facilities, is preferred
Candidates should possess sound knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:
HFO-fired power generation engines
Alternators and excitation systems
Steam turbines and associated auxiliary systems
High-voltage (HV) electrical systems
Switchgear operation and maintenance
Power transformers
Substation equipment and systems
Electrical protection, control, and automation systems
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
AC/DC motors and motor control systems
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and implementing system modifications.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Sound understanding of safety and regulatory compliance.
Maintenance Management:
Plan and execute electrical maintenance activities.
Holding authority in carrying out electrical work under the work permit.
Supervise electrical maintenance staff and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor electrical systems and equipment performance.
Prepare reports on electrical maintenance activities.
Develop and implement electrical maintenance strategies.
Coordinate with operations to schedule electrical maintenance activities.
Manage electrical maintenance budgets and control costs.
Lead and mentor the electrical maintenance staff.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Prepare and present electrical maintenance reports to senior management.
Implement best practices and new technologies to improve electrical maintenance efficiency.
