Responsibilities & Context:
• Business Hunting & Lead Generation: Drive new business hunting and lead generation within the government sector across Bangladesh for software development and IT solutions, building a healthy and qualified opportunity pipeline.
• EOI & RFP Preparation: Prepare, compile and submit high-quality Expression of Interest (EOI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) / tender documents in line with client requirements and procurement guidelines (including e-GP / CPTU).
• Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with the technical and solution teams to develop proposals, demonstrations, and client presentations and to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
• Customer Engagement: Conduct regular weekly visits to existing and prospective government customers to build relationships, understand needs, present solutions, and progress opportunities.
• Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain accurate, in-depth knowledge of the company’s existing products and solutions, and articulate their value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Tender Intelligence: Monitor government/different tender portals, gazettes, and procurement notices to identify relevant opportunities early and track submission deadlines.
• Stakeholder Relations: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and stakeholders within government agencies.
• Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, prepare periodic reports and forecasts, and update CRM records on activities, leads and progress.
• Market Intelligence: Gather market and competitor intelligence to inform positioning, pricing and go-to-market strategy.
•Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, seminars, exhibitions and government-organised programmes to enhance visibility and generate leads.
