Akij Tableware, a unit of Akij Ceramics Limited and a concern of AkijBashir Group, is one of the leading porcelain tableware manufacturers in Bangladesh. Its range covers dinnerware, mugs, decorative ware and HORECA (hotel, restaurant and catering) products for both local and international markets.
Akij Tableware is strengthening its trade sales team across the country. We are looking for an experienced trade sales professional to lead the dealer network, grow secondary and primary sales, and build a strong field team.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the trade sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
2. Appoint, develop and manage dealers, distributors and retailers across assigned territories.
3. Monitor dealer performance, stock levels, credit limits and collections, and ensure timely payment recovery.
4. Lead, guide and monitor the Executive/Sr. Executive (Trade Sales) team in the field.
5. Expand market coverage and product availability in new and existing markets.
6. Ensure proper display and visibility of products at dealer and retail points.
7. Collect market information on competitors, pricing, product trends and customer needs, and share feedback with management.
8. Plan and execute trade promotions, dealer schemes and launch activities with the marketing team.
9. Coordinate with supply chain and factory for order processing and timely delivery.
10. Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market analysis for management.
11. Any other tasks assigned by the management.
Experience Requirements
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in trade sales.
• Experience in porcelain/bone china tableware sales or relevant crockery items is required.
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Ceramic/Tableware, Crockery, Sanitary Ware/Tiles, FMCG, Home Appliances.
