Job Context:
Akij Ceramics Ltd., a leading ceramic manufacturer under AkijBashir Group, is seeking an Engineer/Sr. Engineer–Solar (Utility) to ensure efficient solar PV system operation, maintenance, power generation monitoring, BESS management, and energy optimization while maintaining electrical safety and system reliability.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise solar PV system operation, panel cleaning, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
· Monitor solar generation, inverter performance, and overall system efficiency.
· Operate and monitor BESS, including battery charging/discharging, SOC, SOH, and system performance.
· Monitor and troubleshoot BMS, PCS, EMS, and SCADA systems.
· Support Solar PV, BESS, REB/grid, and generator integration for microgrid operation.
· Maintain daily energy generation records, battery performance reports, and maintenance logs.
· Ensure electrical safety, equipment reliability, and energy cost optimization.
· Coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams for technical support and system improvement.
