Experience:
• Progressive experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in paper, packaging, board paper, industrial products or FMCG industries.
• Proven experience in managing nationwide dealer and distribution networks across Bangladesh.
• Demonstrated success in appointing new dealers, expanding distribution channels and achieving aggressive sales growth.
• Hands-on experience in board paper, duplex board, kraft paper, carton board or other industrial paper products will be highly preferred.
• Strong exposure to dealer management, channel development, territory expansion, trade marketing and business development.
Position Purpose
To lead and manage the nationwide dealer and distribution channel of Jamuna Paper Mills Ltd., ensuring sustainable sales growth, market expansion and strong dealer relationships across Bangladesh. The role is responsible for developing and executing channel sales strategies, appointing new dealers, strengthening the existing dealer network, increasing market penetration, achieving sales targets and enhancing the company's leadership position in the board paper market. The incumbent will play a key role in expanding sales coverage, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring effective distribution of the company's paper products throughout the country.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the nationwide dealer sales channel for all paper products.
• Develop and implement channel sales strategies to achieve annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets.
• Identify, appoint and develop new dealers across Bangladesh to expand market coverage and increase sales volume.
• Strengthen the existing dealer network through effective relationship management, business support and performance monitoring.
• Ensure optimum market penetration by expanding the distribution network into new territories and untapped markets.
• Develop and execute dealer development programs to improve dealer capability, profitability and business sustainability.
• Monitor dealer sales performance, inventory levels, market coverage and collection status on a regular basis.
• Establish sales targets, KPIs and business plans for regional sales teams and dealer partners.
• Ensure effective implementation of sales policies, pricing strategies, trade schemes and promotional campaigns.
• Build strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, corporate customers and strategic business partners.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activities and gather market intelligence.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements and competitor strategies to recommend appropriate sales initiatives.
• Resolve dealer issues relating to product supply, pricing, credit, claims and after-sales support.
• Ensure effective management of dealer credit, outstanding receivables and market collections in coordination with Finance.
• Lead, mentor and develop regional sales managers and field sales teams to improve productivity and performance.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
