Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture (Genetics and Plant breeding is preferable.)
∎ Skills Required: Communication, COMPUTER OFFICE MANAGEMENT, Language skills both in Bengali and English.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Agri Marketing, Agribusiness, Promotion and Branding
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Context:
∎ Mainly with research & Development, Sales & Marketing, and some other units of Ispahani Agro Ltd as per necessity.
∎ The entire foreign business partner relating to seed import and sourcing.
∎ DAE, Secretariat, BADC, Research organization and so on relevant to job and assignment.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Market Demand Estimation:
∎ Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by sales team
∎ Maintaining a questionnaire survey by the sales & marketing team.
∎ Collect & update product wise national market demand.
∎ To develop new market.
∎ Maintaining active correspondents regularly with sales and marketing stuffs.
∎ • Product Sourcing:
∎ Accordance with the market demand, sourcing desired product from home and abroad.
∎ Corresponding with foreign source by email and in some case making call.
∎ Maintaining ideal working relation and liaison with foreign source by providing trail report them on time.
∎ Support for source materials to research organization, govt. institute, agriculture universities etc.
∎ • Sample screening coordination:
∎ Coordination sample screening plan and execution.
∎ Cross check with desired product characteristics.
∎ Collect trial data report form research & development and market development team on time.
∎ Visiting the trial field directly in some important stage of plant.
∎ Identification of hybrids suitable for different agro climate conditions.
∎ Demonstration of new and existing product R & D, market staff, distributors, dealers and farmers.
∎ Testing new products in respective marketing zones before launch.
∎ Acts as direction to future mode of research.
∎ Keeping update to all regional managers with the new product trial.
∎ • Products Stock update:
∎ Monitoring stock movement, especially for imported items & takes initiatives to import.
∎ Update with the product purchase and selling periods in the market.
∎ • Database for product development:
∎ Develop & update characteristics of product.
∎ List of all companies with their product characteristics.
∎ Collecting catalog, leaflet and other product printing materials.
∎ All the trial reports of R & D and market.
∎ Archiving all the documents related to product development.
∎ • Regulatory Activities:
∎ Product registration activities.
∎ Renew of import related documents
∎ Maintaining liaison with DAE, Secretariat, and BCSIR and research institution.
∎ New product trails etc.
∎ Import permission and Phytosaniatry certificate.
∎ Sampling testing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
