Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for managing, securing, optimizing and maintaining databases that support customer experience (CX) platforms, CRM systems, workforce tools, and reporting dashboards. The role ensures high availability, data integrity, and compliance across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Database Management

·       Install, configure, and maintain databases (SQL / NoSQL).

·       Monitor performance and optimize queries.

·       Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

2. Data Security & Compliance

·       Implement access control policies.

·       Ensure compliance with GDPR and client data protection standards.

·       Monitor suspicious access or data breaches.

3. Backup & Recovery

·       Perform scheduled backups.

·       Test disaster recovery processes.

·       Maintain recovery documentation.

4. Performance Optimization

·       Index optimization

·       Query tuning

·       Capacity planning

·       Load balancing

5. Reporting & Analytics Support

·       Support BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)

·       Assist CX analysts with data extraction

·       Maintain real-time KPI dashboards

6. Collaboration

·       Work with CRM teams (Salesforce, Zendesk environments)

·       Support IT security audits

·       Coordinate with global infrastructure teams

·       Required Skills & Qualifications
