∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Computer Science Engineering
∎ No third division, minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00.
∎ Candidate must be from a UGC-approved university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Database Administration, management and maintenance, Perform installation, configuration of database platform.
∎ Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
∎ Monitor and analyze database performance on regular basis.
∎ Plan and execute database upgrades, install patches, and migrations as per requirements.
∎ Installation, configuration and maintenance of High Availability and DR solutions.
∎ Monitor database growth and performance trends to anticipate future capacity needs.
∎ Data retention and purging policy implementation as per bank policy.
∎ Database security hardening & VA mitigation.
∎ Stay updated with the latest database technologies, trends, and industry developments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Professional certifications i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL will be preferable.
∎ Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
∎ Proficiency in scripting languages, preferably SQL, PL/SQL and Shell scripting.
∎ Deep understanding of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Dataguard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), and Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
∎ SQL Server Installation, Backup/Recovery & SQL Server Always On
∎ Experience with advanced security protocols and methods.
∎ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
∎ Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
∎ MySQL/MariaDB Installation, MySQL NDB Cluster, Backup/Restoration & Master Slave Replication
∎ PostgreSQL Installation, Backup/Restoration & Master-Slave Replication
∎ Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
∎ Up-to-date with trends and developments in database administration.
