• Candidate should have minimum 4 to 5 years of working experience in MIS-related positions. Good spoken and written English language skills are essential.
• Applicants should have sound knowledge in Microsoft Office, MS Access database, visual basic dot net, online data collection platforms ODK/KOBO, and statistical package SPSS/STATA.
• Knowledge on oracle database will be given preference.

Job Summary: This technical position supports the Program Manager (MIS-R) through independent programming, database design and management, developing queries and reports, and ensuring proper data quality.

• To be a model of professional behavior and integrity and to promote unity and peace among all project staff.

• Undertakes and develop procedures for MIS-R data checking, consistency/logical checking of datasets, processing, quality improvement and analysis.

• Develop forms, queries and reports using visual basic dot net, MS Access, Oracle, ODK, KOBO and according to research questionnaires and MIS-R data collection formats as required.

• Ensure system of routine backup.

• Develop and managed MIS-R database with minimum instruction of manager.

• Assist on project related MIS-R database eg. During consultancies.

• Generate reports and queries including using statistical software packages eg. SPSS, STATA, MS Access, Excel.

• Training new staff in data entry.

• Give technical assistance to community data entry staff (database problems, matching database, HCC stats, maternity stats etc.)

Around Tk. 25,060/- per month gross, equivalent to approximately Tk. 3,45,861 per annum, inclusive of all benefits. The remuneration package includes a provident fund, festival allowance once per year, medical benefits, critical illness and death benefits, and recreation.
