Job Context:
∎ LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.
∎ There are vacancies for the following contractual position for the Elimination of Genital Fistula by Capturing, Treating, Rehabilitating and Reintegrating in Bangladesh (FRRei) Project funded by UNFPA as follows;
∎ Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the overall activities of FRRei Project in assigned District and Sub-district level. S/he is primarily responsible for identifying fistula patients; refer to district hospital or LAMB Hospital for fistula repairing and their rehabilitation, beside that quality implementation, sustainable rehabilitation and strengthening fistula referral system.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. General:
∎ • Represent and promote LAMB’s specific spiritual and emotional health activities and ends during Fistula family visits.
∎ • Offer religious and spiritual guidance to patients/residents/clients and staff.
∎ • Regularly visits with all patients/residents/clients while daily giving priority to those in greatest need.
∎ • Keeps records as required and take necessary action through proper ways.
∎ • Establish positive working relationships with all members of the Fistula team as well as with the volunteers
∎ • Rapport building with MoWCA, MoSWF and MoYS to rehabilitate who fully cured from fistula.
∎ • Conduct at least few sessions in a month with adolescent girls in the schools, madrashas and colleges about fistula awareness.
∎ • If any incident occurs in hospital in targeting community group, conduct special prayer for them as priority basis.
∎ • Assist fistula patients for digenesis or fistula screening.
∎ • Provide supportive role with the referral fistula patient’s liaison link for govt. health staff.
∎ • Work with skilled resource person and LAMB staff of various religious backgrounds, develop and adapt spiritual and emotional health material for community use, sensitive to different religious beliefs. Material must also be suitable for range of literacy from minimal to advanced
∎ 2. Awareness raising/ orientation on FGF for health personnel at upazila level:
∎ • Assist DRC to arrange orientation on fistula, case identification and referral system for all health personnel both medical and non-medical.
∎ • Assist DRC to arrange session on fistula, dissemination of awareness message on fistula and referring case.
∎ • Disseminate the message on fistula prevention through regular activities at field.
∎ • Aware women on possible causes of fistula and preventive measures.
∎ 3. Holistic support and rehabilitation of women with fistula including income-generating training:
∎ • Assess the women’s socio-economic condition and their actual needs.
∎ • Assist to arrange LAMB based training in income generation (IG) e.g. tailoring, poultry farming, cattle rearing, handy crafts etc.
∎ 4. Humanitarian response:
∎ • Assist to conduct health camps during disaster period for the disaster-affected people.
∎ 5. Quality control:
∎ • Assist to maintain quality of project activities
∎ 6. Environment, Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults:
∎ • LAMB, being a child-focused organization, shall emphasis its highest priority for the safety and security of every child within the working areas. If any incident happens, LAMB will take immediate action against anyone as per its child protection policy. At the same way, LAMB will also give its highest priority in case of abuse of vulnerable adults.
∎ • Consider all materials used or distributed in the project that are environment friendly.
∎ 7. Networking and advocacy:
∎ • Ensure good communication between LAMB and local level
∎ • Time to time communicate with local level government staff
∎ 8. Financial Management:
∎ • Prepare bills and vouchers as per requirement of the project
∎ • Submit invoice of the program within the level of authority
∎ • Assist District Rehabilitation Coordinator to review project financial report
∎ 9. Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health:
∎ • Ensure prayer at beginning of daily work, before the meeting, workshop, seminar & training
∎ • Ensure availability of religious books and references at all offices, sub-offices/centers
∎ • Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach to communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
∎ • Ensure religious and organizational values among staffs following organizational policies including safeguarding policy (child protection, adult vulnerable policy)
∎ • Promote LAMB values
∎ • Ensure that all staff understand LAMB Mission, vision, and values
∎ • Be an example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision, and values
∎ 10. Others:
∎ • Any other duty assigned by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years

Salary: Tk. 20000 - 22000 (Monthly)
