Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field.
Basic understanding of product costing and budgeting principles.
Proficient in Excel for Data Analysis, SMV calculations, OB Planning and process.

The Costing IE Officer/Senior Officer will be responsible for analyzing production processes, calculating accurate garment costs, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the costing team with actionable insights. This role combines industrial engineering principles with cost management to ensure competitive, accurate, and profitable production costing.
Costing & Analysis:
Prepare and maintain accurate garment costing sheets for woven/knit products.
Collect, validate, and analyze cost inputs including fabrics, trims, accessories, and overheads.
Support pre-costing and post-costing processes for new orders and bulk production.
Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and suggest alternatives in materials or processes.
Industrial Engineering & Productivity:
Analyze daily production data to identify inefficiencies and suggest immediate corrective actions.
Monitor floor-wise efficiency and ensure adherence to planned production targets.
Maintain and update Standard Minute Value (SMV) for all operations on the production floor.
Conduct motion and time studies to streamline worker movements and improve productivity.
Ensure effective line balancing to minimize idle time and optimize workflow.
Coordinate with supervisors and operators to implement process improvements.
Evaluate operator performance regularly and suggest necessary training or upskilling.
Ensure compliance with approved production methods and quality standards.
Support floor management in achieving KPIs such as efficiency, DHU (Defect per Hundred Units), and output targets.
