∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ Essential Requirements: M.B.B.S, BMDC registered; good written and verbal communication in English. Completed PG degree, preferably FCPS or MD in internal medicine or cardiology, followed by at least 2-3 years of working experience in well reputed hospital(s).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for guidelines and evidence based quality maintenance for the department
∎ Manages junior and senior doctors in specialist training in the department
∎ Ensures audit, evaluates results, and facilitates necessary changes to maintain and improve quality of training and services
∎ Advises LAMB across different departments in area of specialty·
∎ Strategic prioritization of departmental resources
∎ Responsible for relationship and reporting to donors
∎ Involvement in networking within BD and/or internationally is desired
∎ Involvement in research is desired, including presentations and/or publications nationally and internationally
∎ We are looking for a dynamic and experienced consultant to grow and develp our medicine department further, together with an engaged team, to bring quality medical care to the disadvantaged community of Northern Bangladesh.
∎ Job Summary: Working with leading a team of senior and junior doctors, caring for in-patients and out-patients, mostly general medicine with options of all basic investigations including ultrasound and echosonography performed by medicine doctors. Emergency and oncall coverage backup to a junior doctor. Being responsible for quality care, following and updating our guidelines, teaching and supervising doctors and paramedics. While working at LAMB, doctors also have the opportunity:
∎ To participate in clinical audit projects and research
∎ To teach in LAMB’s Learning and Development Centre/Nursing and Midwifery Institute
∎ Responsible for guidelines and evidence based quality maintenance for the department
∎ Manages junior and senior doctors in specialist training in the department
∎ Ensures audit, evaluates results, and facilitates necessary changes to maintain and improve quality of training and services
∎ Advises LAMB across different departments in area of specialty·
