Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have a Master's in Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Social Science/Business Development or a relevant Discipline with a minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any reputed institutions.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Dairy, Dairy Farm, dairy production, Dairy Supply Chain, Dairy technology, Field of Agriculture and Dairy Firm
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dairy

Job Context:
∎ The duration of the job will be one (1) year and this is a contractual job.
∎ Work station: Field office

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare a training module on modern dairy farming;
∎ Develop a training module for the BDFP staff and marginal dairy farmers;
∎ Develop ToT from internal sources (BDFP's) to train bottom-line staffs, society managers & farmers to increase the productivity of individual milch cows as well as the income of individual farmers by ensuring economic & scientific cattle feeding, breeding, adopting modern dairy technologies as well as making the model dairy farming;
∎ Supervising & monitoring the field training, reporting to the BDFP authority, organizing meeting workshops/seminars and different demonstrations in the project activity areas;
∎ Communication and meetings with major regulatory bodies like DLS, BSTI, BSFA to understand the demand vs supply, identify the current contains and challenges, and provide targeted recommendations;
∎ Explore the policy/regulatory issues affecting the milk market system;
∎ Detecting the way forward to improve the permanent sources of raw milk to ensure the uninterrupted supply of milk products in the current & new markets;
∎ Compile a recommendation or conclusions to ensure the availability of raw milk sources with suitable prices (both for the farmers & the processors) as per Milk & Milk products market demand.
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 60 years
∎ Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience in Milk & Milk Product Markets
∎ Experience in conducting research and assessment
∎ Excellent Communication and Writing Skill
∎ Age, Education and Experience may be relaxed for potential candidate
