Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervision of construction, erection, testing and commissioning of plant, equipment and facilities to ensure full compliance of the EPC contract with regard to quality, safety and performance.
∎ ? Monitor site activities with respect to the latest approved schedule.
∎ ? Advise regarding adequacy of special tools/equipment, manpower and resources of subcontractor.
∎ ? Review of subcontractor's work plans for ensuing week/month.
∎ ? Preparation of weekly/monthly site progress reports covering current construction status, deviations from approved schedules, critical areas and proposed remedial measures.
∎ ? Providing advice and prepare solutions/plans regarding technical problems encountered at site.
∎ ? Monitoring of tests carried out on soil, concrete, structure or equipment at the site.
∎ ? Carry out the inspections and tests as per approved FQP at site, and prepare the inspection reports accordingly.
∎ ? Monitoring of the quality of workmanship, materials and equipment used in the actual construction.
∎ ? Propose corrective actions to be taken in case of works that are not in line with approved designs / specifications by subcontractor.
∎ ? Review and advice regarding field changes desired by subcontractor.
∎ ? Prepare site quality assurance plans, HSE plans and compliance.
∎ ? Safety management during construction and commissioning of the project and monitor the subcontractor’s safety efforts.
∎ ? Interface and co-ordinate activities to monitor the plant testing from initial synchronization of the unit through all performance testing.
∎ ? Punch list preparation and handover to the client / O&M Team.
