Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA in HR or any discipline from any reputed university.
∎ PGDHRM & Diploma in Social Compliance will be given preference.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing, implementing and managing an organization's compliance standard.
∎ Regular monitoring of all compliance status in line with buyer's requirements adhering to relevant laws of the country and buyer standards.
∎ Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the managements and suggest management regarding several important pronouncement and decisions of Law & other COC
∎ Find out any non-conformity in relation to compliance and make sure that those findings are resolved in a systematic and planned manner.
∎ Conduct internal audit in the light of Labor Law, Factory Rules, buyers COC & other national & international legal instruments. Prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit reports both internal & external.
∎ Able to handle all types of Audits (Social, Environmental & Buyer's COC).
∎ Monitor compliance certification SEDEX, Carters, TQP, SLCP, ISO 9001 & 14001 etc. and handle their different audits with requirements.
∎ Maintain every compliance mechanism/tools internally; through weekly, monthly and yearly comparative statistical report & tools.
∎ Review and update all legal documents/certificate/license time to time by communicating with the specific authorities.
∎ Maintain report/emails with the local bodies, buyer representatives and govt. agencies.
∎ Educate and train factory employees on compliance standards and requirements
∎ Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 years' experience, preferably.
∎ Adequate knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Law & Rules, EPZ Laws, COC of Prominent brand, BSCI, C-TPAT, GSV, Accord/Alliance Code, BNBC, NFPA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Higg Index etc.
∎ Strong knowledge about Fire Safety, Occupational health & Safety, Building safety & Electrical Safety.
∎ Able to complete the task within a specified time-frame.
∎ Proactive, sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work independently.
∎ Should have good analytical power and communication skills to resolve issues.
∎ Candidate should familiar with computer operation and common Office application.
