Job Context:
∎ As a Community Outreach Associate will be responsible for RI community- based protection mechanism and support SASA! Together methodology, which is the holistic community engagement for social change to create environment where violence against women is never accepted and women can live safe, fulfilling and dignified lives. You will be under supervision of SASA! Together Officer.

∎ Contract length: Up to 31st December, 2022 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the guidance of the SASA! Together Officer, the Community Outreach Associate will be responsible for-
∎ Conduct all community leadership strategy activities under SASA! Together methodology. They will be conducting all activities and also equally support all learning and assessment work to understand the behavioral change impact under different phases of SASA! Together implementation in camps.
∎ Driven and support community-led initiative (e.g.; women support network) for ownership and sustainability to empower women and girls to led community led GBV risk mitigation activities.
∎ Support community-led groups (e.g.; women support network) to plan their activities.
∎ Organize weekly meeting with community-led groups (e.g.; women support network), sports team, and community leaders of SASA! Together methodology.
∎ Be equipped and inspired the core concept of SASA! Together to build capacity of mixed community leaders under SASA! Together methodology.
∎ Maintain regular communication with all community leaders to help them to follow up their work plan under SASA! Together implementation.
∎ Conduct SASA! Together and all other relevant training with community leaders and others
∎ Build leaders’ skills in providing referral and basic responses.
∎ Organize monthly-meeting with community leaders to share, practice, plan and cerebrate.
∎ Create a private electronic group and communicate through electronic check-in.
∎ Plan and conduct in-person visits and drop-ins.
∎ Organize brief complementary training session.
∎ Sample activities, schedule, and complete Community Change Trackers and all relevant L&A tools.
∎ Schedule and conduct L&A feedback sessions with community leaders every quarterly or every 6 months.
∎ Attend any public activities that leaders are professionally involved in.
∎ Organize leaders ‘participation in phase collaboration meeting.
∎ Organize leaders ‘participation in SASA! Together community launch.
∎ Represent RI work in Camp coordination meeting, SASA! Adhoc meeting and other similar coordination platform
∎ Arrange awareness raising campaign and event activities as needed.
∎ Report to SASA! Together Officer weekly.
∎ Ensure monthly database, narrative report and other adhoc report required by GBV Manager
∎ Maintain good coordination/ collaboration with other RI staffs, partner and other stakeholder.
∎ Ensure recognized international best practices and Relief International policies are applied in the work with women, girls and vulnerable persons.
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by supervisor.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Experience working with NGO in Cox’s bazar is preferable
∎ Demonstrate knowledge of community-led mechanism
∎ Experience in community mobilization in refugee camps
∎ Demonstrate faith and belief activism, good social changes, holistic engagement and community-led mechanism for ownership and sustainability
∎ Experience and skill work with community member
∎ Demonstrate facilitation skills
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Good knowledge of local context, strongly preferred
∎ Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and support unexpected task.

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh
