The Admin & Logistics Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and logistics support at Bhasan Char under HCMP. The position will ensure smooth administrative operations, inventory and accommodation management, and coordination with relevant operational terms while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding standard and operational procedure.

  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations of the Bhasan Char office, including office facilities, stores and accommodation management

  • Maintain proper inventory records and ensure efficient storage, handling and distribution of administrative and sectoral goods

  • Coordinate office logistics support and manage accommodation facilities for staff, visitors and guests

  • Arrange hotel bookings, ticketing, accommodation and visit protocols for visitors and staffs as required

  • Support procurement related activities in coordination with the Procurement Unit and others support service teams

  • Assists in sourcing goods and services for administrative and sectoral needs in compliance with organizational procurement policies

  • Receive Administrative and Sectoral goods from vendors, Courier and Partners and and ensure proper communications

  • Ensure timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of goods to Bhasan Char

  • Provide need-based support for carrying cash to Bhasan Char in compliance with organizational financial and security procedures

  • Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Logistics, and Sectoral teams to ensure smooth operational support

  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensure proper cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of office premises, stores, and accommodation facilities

  • Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of administrative and operational records

  • Promote and maintain safeguarding standards, including protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, neglect, and discrimination in all operational activities

  • Ensure compliance with BRAC safeguarding policies, code of conduct, child protection, gender sensitivity, and workplace safety standards

  • Immediately report any safeguarding concerns, incidents, or policy violations through appropriate organizational reporting mechanisms

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with organizational needs

Safeguarding:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
