Job Context:
∎ Provision of Comprehensive WASH services for the Rohingya refugees and the host communities living in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh.
∎ The duration of the project will be until March 31, 2022.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support to Project Officer & WASH Engineer to conduct regular survey, assessment, and operation & maintenance of existing WASH facilities.
∎ Conduct regular meetings with the WASH Committee and involve them in the WASH activities.
∎ Conduct meeting with the community and motivate them to ensure community engagement following the IOM guideline and approaches.
∎ Collect data of existing WASH facilities through KOBO and maintain register properly.
∎ Provide support to the solid waste volunteers to ensure waste collection from HHs and ensure proper sending to the solid waste management unit and prepare daily report on solid waste collection following the format.
∎ Provide support to the TW repair volunteers to follow up & ensure timely repair & maintenance of the TWs.
∎ Regular follow up of the existing WASH facilities and provide feedback & support to the Rohingya Volunteers to ensure proper functioning of the WASH facilities.
∎ Assist WASH Engineer and Project Officer for assessment of the suitable site selection for project hardware interventions.
∎ Regularly communicate with Head Majhi/Block Majhi and involve them in the ongoing program activities and also involve them in challenge solving process.
∎ Provide support to the Rohingya Volunteers to solve the challenges taking support from other members of the team.
∎ Ensure verify of all registers using by Volunteers regularly.
∎ Prepare different report as per need of the project and submit timely.
∎ Update supervisor on a daily basis and continue good team works.
∎ Perform any other activities assigned by the project team or supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply.
∎ Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
∎ Work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
∎ Professional work experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation, and reporting.
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox's Bazaar).
∎ Medium in English (written / verbal).
Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
