∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Community needs assessment, Stakeholder engagement, Capacity building, Awareness-raising campaigns and Community mobilization strategies.
∎ Excellent communication skills: Ability to listen actively, clearly explain information, and facilitate discussions with diverse groups.
∎ Interpersonal skills: Building trust and rapport with individuals from different backgrounds.
∎ Facilitation skills: Leading group discussions, workshops, and meetings effectively.
∎ Cultural sensitivity: Understanding and respecting cultural norms and practices within a community.
∎ Leadership skills: Inspiring and motivating others to take action.
∎ Problem-solving abilities: Identifying challenges and finding creative solutions within a community.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assess the needs and resources required for Community Engagement Officer and plan for an appropriate integrated response.
∎ Assist the technical person with the assessment and regular operation and maintenance of existing WASH facilities.
∎ Assist in the implementation of software interventions to address priority on public health risks according to the agreed plan and complementary.
∎ Mobilize communities, where appropriate, to participate fully in the software interventions.
∎ Ensure that hygiene promotion activities are in line with relevant standards, WASH policies and other relevant national policies.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.

∎ As per Human Resource Policies & Procedures of NGO Forum for Public Health.

Employment Status: Contractual

Job Location: Cox's Bazar (Kutubdia, Teknaf)

Job Highlights:
∎ Implementation of Climate Resilient WASH Services in Cox's Bazar District.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until May 31, 2025.
