Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. Its core activities are the socio-economic development of coastal people which is operated through seven thematic areas as Agriculture, Fishery, Dairy and Horticulture; Education, Skills and Youth Development; Conflict Resolution; Climate Change and Disaster; Health and Nutrition; Social Entrepreneurship; Microfinance and Rohingya Education, Protection and Repatriation.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the following positions from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing General Food Assistant Program (GFA) in two new outlets at Modhurchora-02 and Modhurchora-04 camps along with existing two outlets at camp 07 and camp 8W funded by World Food Programme. The duration of this programme at the two new outlets are for two months (January-February) possibility to extend further subject to the approval of donor as well as depending on the availability of fund from Donor.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to prepare work plan for the collection of vegetable and poultry/fish in consultation with Project management & Donor.
∎ Give necessary information regarding individual Farmers / FDMN beneficiaries, category of farmers and their production level and market price.
∎ Assessment of market system and linking farmers with EV- outlet retailers and with different input suppliers.
∎ Conduct regular price monitoring and different meeting / training to Farmers and aggregation center management committee members.
∎ Receive complain time to time in camp and from farmers and forward to supervisor for next course of action.
∎ Collect farmers proposed unit price and forward to retailers for their choice of select items with their proposed price and update that to the Framers.
∎ Close contact with Aggregation center management committee member and guide them for linking farmers to FFC.
∎ Assess the market mapping and supply chain information and update time to time to supervisor for programmatic changes if required.
∎ Assist to Aggregation center Management committee member and farmers to update their passbook.
∎ Linking farmers with different financial institute for financial support for Farmers.
∎ Conduct different survey, assessment and FGD for different report preparation.
∎ Conduct monitoring for assurance of quality vegetables are supplied by the farmers / Aggregation center.
∎ Assist to prepare distribution schedule to his / her supervisor through giving information about camp and block.
∎ Give necessary information regarding individual beneficiaries, category of beneficiaries group, migration, shifting to other catchment / block/ camp.
∎ Invite beneficiaries to receive allocated commodity followed by beneficiaries list with authentic time, place, system and size and collect thumbprint during individual beneficiaries.
∎ Receive complaints timely in camp during token distribution and inform supervisor/ help desk for correction/ necessary amendment and as required.
∎ Prepare a list of absent beneficiaries in the camp with appropriate reason with recommendation.
∎ Prepare daily token distribution status and submit all return token to supervisor with absent list.
∎ Coordination with block Majhi, Site Management and elite people in the camp and keep update about the camp situation.
∎ Coordinate with the volunteers, labors, porters and local community for minimize the crowed and work in the distribution point when assigned by supervisor.
∎ Receive commodity from Donr hub / warehouse and keep track record, update stack card and assist Project Officer to keep update the stock register.
∎ Assist the team to distribution commodity and manage the beneficiaries in the queue, distribution point.
∎ Assist volunteer to maintain master roll, collect thumbprint and identification of appropriate beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience on Food Security Program and hands on experience of food security indicators.
∎ Must have working knowledge on Cash base intervention in humanitarian and development context.
∎ Must have working experience in Rohingya Camps and well conversant on about the context.
∎ Have demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Have writing, reporting, and analytical skills.
∎ Min. 2 years WFP GFA Experience as Field Facilitator / Community Mobilizer in Rohingya Refugee Camps essential
∎ Able to communicate in Chittagonian language .
∎ 100% stationed at the Sub-blocks, blocks, Rapid Response.
∎ Have moderate computer operating knowledge.
∎ Have self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work.

Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
