Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Association for Social Advancement (BASA) a national level Non Government Organization (NGO) is started to implement a project titled " FINISH Mondial " Funded by WASTE the Netherlands at Sakhipur Upazila under Tangail District with the support of Aqua for all & Amref. We are looking for suitable, qualified and competent candidates to fill up the position mentioned below:
∎ Job Location: Sakhipur, Tangail
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate different types of hygiene activities, sessions, gatherings and rally on wash & waste management.
∎ Facilitate hygiene session at school on personal hygiene, MHM, WSP & waste management.
∎ Expert hand on writing case study, MSC story, session report & report on use of hardware.
∎ Prepare of monthly work plan and undertake the activities as per guideline to achieve post implementation monitoring by the project.
∎ Mobilize the community people and establish functional relationship with the JONOSHANGATHAN of 1 to 09 wards, others community leaders to get their support and cooperation.
∎ Provide all necessary support and technical assistance to the water option holders in the project area for perfect operation and ensure the access of all users.
∎ Maintain close relationship with the ward councilors, public toilet committee and the concern the officials of the municipality and all other stakeholders for smooth operation of public toilets.
∎ Provide all necessary support and technical assistance to the sanitation /toilet option holders in the project area for perfect operation and ensure the access of all users.
∎ Provide support and assist school management committee for smooth operation & collection of tariff for solid waste collection.
∎ Mobilize target beneficiaries, service providers and other social and community leaders in order to involve them in matters relating to WASH campaign.
∎ Supervise and monitoring of community and institutions level activities including SWM, waste water management at household & institutions.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly report on the program activities to concern authority.
∎ Assist the project staff for training purpose of entrepreneurs & local stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
∎ High potential for or proven community facilitation skills and relevant background.
∎ Communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Physically fit and energetic.
∎ Creative.
∎ Age below or equal to 35 year(s)
Salary:
∎ Tk.20000 ( Consolidated)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per project design.
