Job Context:
∎ Improved WASH Services to the Myanmar Refugees Population in Ukhiya Upazila, Cox`s Bazar District.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until October 31 2021.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementing hygiene promotion, community engagement & behavioral change activities in the Rohingya camps as per HPO & TM-H guideline.
∎ Monitor the hygiene condition of the camp area(s) and to arrange sessions (mini) among community when required under the supervision of the HPO.
∎ Conduct activities following CCC-PLTH, RANAS & Child focused hygiene & ensure proper implementation by regular monitoring & following up.
∎ Conduct community-based capacity building training & orientation for the community groups like WASH committee, Child Leader Groups, MHM Facilitators Groups, Latrine & Water User Groups etc. on hygiene issues
∎ Supervision of the hygiene community volunteers & community group members to ensure effective community engagement & hygiene promotion
∎ Lead sustainable community engagement through improving knowledge and changing the attitudes, practices & behavior of the targeted communities.
∎ Develop & provide need-based support to “Hygiene Volunteers” to establish different user groups/committee to ensure proper community engagement.
∎ Conduct regular meetings with volunteers, community group members, hygiene team to discuss progress& how to mitigate any issues/challenges
∎ Identify key areas of risk in hygiene operations for early remedial actions.
∎ Conduct different survey as per requirement of hygiene promotion team
∎ To undertake innovative idea or new community engagement approaches as and when required by the Project Management, Donor & WASH Sector.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working experience in the sector of WASH and Humanitarian Response.
∎ Ability to speak English and Cox’s Bazar local language (written/verbal)
∎ Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism
Salary: Tk. 40898 (Monthly)
