Experience:
Masters in Disaster Management / Climate Change / Development Studies and relevant subjects and experiences.
Design and Oversight of Research Instruments: Formulate culturally sensitive survey tools, FGD and KII/IDI guidelines, and sampling frameworks; train and supervise enumerators to uphold ethical rigor, methodological precision, and respectful engagement, ensuring data integrity and neutrality.
Field Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate trust and participation by liaising with community leaders, educators, religious figures, and local authorities; troubleshoot operational impediments, safeguard confidentiality, and maintain high-quality data collection protocols.
Participatory Risk Assessment and Community Mobilization: Facilitate inclusive dialogues, risk mapping, transect walks, and other participatory techniques to identify WASH vulnerabilities—such as flooding, water scarcity, and salinity intrusion—and validate findings through community consensus.
Behavior Change Communication and RCCE Strategy: Draft and disseminate consistent, transparent, and culturally resonant messages from trusted institutions (LGIs, DPHE, NGOs) using diverse channels—mosques, madrasas, schools, local gatherings, and digital platforms—tailored to women, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups.
Capacity Building and Awareness Campaigns: Lead interactive educational sessions, competitions, and advocacy events in schools, madrasas, and community hubs, employing storytelling, visual mapping, and peer-led initiatives to strengthen climate-adaptive WASH practices.
Infrastructure Vulnerability Analysis: Develop and adapt climate-sensitive WASH infrastructure checklists; collaborate with engineers, local authorities, and communities to assess exposure, sensitivity, and coping capacity, integrating results into RCCE and service delivery strategies.
Sustained Engagement and Visibility Tools: Establish community bulletin boards, youth-driven campaigns, and culturally embedded dissemination mechanisms to reinforce climate resilience, risk reduction, and public health messaging, ensuring continuity and community ownership.
