Job Context:
∎ Society for Health Extension and Development (SHED), a National NGO, in partnership with a UN agency, is going to implement the "CE Project at Bhasan Char, Hatia, Noakhali. For effective and efficient implementation of the project, SHED invites interested and potential candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply.
∎ Job Location: Bhasan Char, Hatia, Noakhali
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Public speaking skills and comfortable working with groups (small and large)
∎ Knowledge and build capacity on positive parenting, peer education, U-report, PSEA, Child safeguard, AAP, IPC, Facilitation skill, Feedback Mechanism, Community Engagement Quality Standards, DRR, Emergency Preparedness, Cyclone preparedness etc.
∎ Provides expertise in the development, organization, administration and execution of special events and keeping pre and post event details.
∎ Contributes and helps implement plans to engage stakeholders, ISPs and Outreach Workers.
∎ Liaise with internal departments, UNOs/CiCs, ACiC, existing committees and external clients to facilitate the coordination of event production.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills in establishing successful working relationships both internally and externally.
∎ Develop and maintain project training & meeting schedules and timelines for events.
∎ Identify and implement improvement strategies and best practices.
∎ Recruit, train and supervise OWs and support staff to assist with special events and other activities aligning with the agency's opportunities for OWs engagement.
∎ Responsible for ensuring data regarding stakeholders and events on the Foundation database is current and accurate, including all data entry and information updates.
∎ Monitor and supervise regular activities in field level and reporting to management.
∎ Liaison between management and filed level Staffs as well as Outreach Workers.
∎ Regular primary data update to ONA/Kobo/others.
∎ Knowledge on Logbook and loop register and IFC register and others
∎ Liaison and maintain an excellent relationship between the local govt. and all of existing authority.
∎ Organize IPT show and RL session as per project need.
∎ Supervise ISPs and build their capacity by on job training/ session.
∎ Prepare Monthly Plan and submit report on due time
∎ Assist to PM & DPM as per project needs
∎ Other duties and work as assigned by Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills both Bengali & English
∎ Experience with database management.
∎ Make a hardship and have positive mentality to take workload
∎ Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office applications.
∎ Skilled on SBC and community Engagement activities
