Job Context:
∎ As a Community Engagement Facilitator, you will be responsible for support SASA! Together methodology, which is the holistic community engagement for social change to create environment where violence against women is never accepted and women can live safe, fulfilling and dignified lives. You will be under supervision of GBV community mobilizer.

∎ Reporting to: GBV community mobilizer
∎ Department: Protection
∎ Expected Start Date: January 1, 2020.
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be equipped and inspired the core concept of SASA! Together
∎ Identify local activist, mentor and support activists in developing activity plan
∎ Build activist skills in providing referral and basic responses
∎ Create deeper discussion groups with community activist and their partner as participants
∎ Organize twice monthly-meeting with community activists to share, practise, plan and cerebrate
∎ Plan and conduct activity support visits
∎ Support activists in identifying members for the deeper discussion groups
∎ Sample activities, schedule, and complete Community Change Trackers
∎ Schedule and conduct quarterly L&A feedback sessions with activists
∎ Organize activists 'participation in phase collaboration meeting
∎ Organize activists 'participation in SASA! Together community launch
∎ Support awareness raising campaign and event activities as needed
∎ Report to GBV community mobilizer weekly
∎ Maintain good coordination/ collaboration with other RI staffs, partner and other stakeholder
∎ Ensure recognized international best practices and Relief International policies are applied in the work with women, girls and vulnerable persons
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience working with NGO in Cox's bazar is preferable.
∎ Demonstrate faith and belief activism, good social changes, holistic engagement and community-led mechanism for ownership and sustainability
∎ Experience and skill work with community member
∎ Demonstrate facilitation skills
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Good knowledge of local context, strongly preferred
∎ Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and support unexpected task.
∎ Enthusiasm to learn
∎ Optimistic and friendly
∎ Flexibility
∎ Excellent communication skill in Bangali and Rohingya
∎ Good command in English, an asset
∎

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
