• At least graduated in any field of business studies, social science, development studies, or any related field.
• At least five years’ experience in the development field. Demonstrated experience with waste management projects.
• Excellent presentation skills with written and oral communication are desired.

Community Development Centre (CODEC) is seeking qualified Bangladeshi professionals for the as a part of project proposal development for a tentative project that will address waste management , promote environmental sustainability, advance climate change adaptation, and strengthen inclusive community engagement in Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, and Tangail.

The Community Engagement and Inclusion Officer (s) will be responsible for the regular implementation of the project activities. They will lead the beneficiary’s selection process, mobilize in the community, and organize targeted programs. They will maintain a close link-up with the project beneficiaries and local committees. The Community Engagement and Inclusion Officer (s) will report to the Sr. District Coordinator/District Coordinator.

The Community Engagement & Inclusion Officer will support inclusive beneficiary engagement and ensure effective community participation in project activities. Responsibilities include:

• Identify, mobilize, and register beneficiaries (with focus on women, youth, and marginalized groups) in coordination with the District Coordinator.
• Facilitate community consultations, awareness sessions, and outreach campaigns on BEP, health, safety, and gender equality.
• Ensure timely and accurate data collection and entry on the ECOPIA platform.
• Support grievance redress, inclusion strategies, and safeguard compliance at the community level.
• Document field-level progress, challenges, and lessons for reporting to the District Coordinator.
• Ensure gender-sensitive communication and promote active participation of disadvantaged groups.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the District Coordinator or Senior District Coordinator.
• Provide support in need assessment, data collection, and others.
