Job Context:
∎ Reports to: Project Manager
∎ Project`s duration: August to December 2021 (with possibilities of extension)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the project team's emergency response efforts by providing cash for workers (CFW) as needed for any emergency response within the camps.
∎ Prepare a roster of 150-200 (willing) able-bodied volunteers (to be engaged as CfW) in each assigned camp in case an emergency response request is made with just 12 hours' notice.
∎ Keep track of CfWs who are involved in any emergency response actions, as well as the details of activities where engaged.
∎ Ensure participants are briefed about their name in such roster and brief orientation about the recurring disasters inside the camps.
∎ Design short brief orientation sessions for these participants to be provided
∎ Prepare a list of tools/kits to be required during emergency response
Additional Requirements:
∎ Work experience in Rohingya emergency response will be given advantage.
∎ Experience with computer-based database (MSSQL Server, MS Access, SPSS/STATA etc.)
∎ Advance working knowledge on software programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ODK, KOBO, Akvo flow etc.) and advance comprehension of spreadsheet
∎ Knowledge and experience on basic statistics and research methodology and report writing
∎ Ability to cope up with a stressful environment and mix with multicultural people and multi-tasks
∎ Fixed Term Contract
∎ The position will be field based in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar district
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some overtime hours.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Salary:
∎ Competitive salary package depending on education and experience.
