Job Context:
∎ Based at Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
∎ The scope of the coordinator position is to ensure community-based child protection mechanism strengthening through the establishment of PSS activities for children and youth, youth engagement and community empowerment. Communication with community is the core component of the program including awareness raising activities (sessions, broad cast), life skills, and advocacy activities to promote CPIE standards.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to ensure quality implementation of the CWC/PSS component of the CPiE response.
∎ Supervise and provide ongoing mentoring to CBCP officers on the preparation of life skills and awareness raising sessions (CPIE, youth engagement, GBV, SHRH, UASC, DRR). This includes review and development of programmatic tools, designing training session and IEC material.
∎ Support the elaboration of the monthly and weekly work plan related to the implementation of the activities (coordination meetings in cox's bazar and Ukhiya).
∎ Contribute to the elaboration of the reporting (data collection, and narrative report) accordingly to donor/projects requirements
∎ Staff Capacity Building
∎ Design and facilitate staff capacity building plan (appraisal)
∎ Contribute to recruitment of officers' position and volunteers
∎ Provide on-the-job coaching and support to officers (of Plan International and partner organization) in technical aspects of the program.

Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for a Bangladeshi Nation who is competent and committed professional holding At least University degree in social work, psychology, social sciences or related field. Required to have minimum About 2-3 years working in a humanitarian context - experience in working with refugees or IDPs is an asset, preferably in international development organization as well as good understanding & knowledge about Humanitarian architecture of the Rohingya Response its operating and regulatory environment. Proven project management skills, including in management, activity plan, monitoring and evaluation for child protection projects etc. Required to have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English & Bangla. Understanding and speaking local language of Cox's Bazar or Chittagong is an advantage.
