∎ Eastport Limited, 100% Export Oriented Garments Industry based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of a Commercial Executive. Eastport Limited is a manufacturing unit of PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear.
∎ Eastport is looking to hire a Commercial Executive to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more experience in related field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
∎ Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
∎ Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
∎ Coordinate and liaise with co-staff to support intercompany activities
∎ Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
∎ Prepare & Maintain VAT & AIT Returns
∎ Back up for other colleagues where necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent oral and written communication in English
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in related field
∎ The applicants should have experience in Export, Import, Customs, Bond, VAT etc.
∎ Experience of working in EPZ factories will be treated as added qualification
∎ Should have strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills
∎ Strong Knowledge of Cash Incentive documentation, BEPZA and Custom Import & Export Policy
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
