∎ B.Sc. Engineering/ Master’s degree in a related field, such as supply chain management, logistics

Agribusiness, Operation & Maintenance

Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare plan for all processes of loading, unloading, storing, internal working and proper delivery of potatoes.
∎ Organize & arrange receiving, storing, testing, and shipping of Potatoes kept in cold storage.
∎ Managing a team of labors under different shifts.
∎ Develop and review standard operating procedures (SOP)
∎ Creating working schedules for pickups and deliveries
∎ Monitoring and checking stock dispatch as per SOP and Tracking transit damage and report.
∎ Develop operation & maintenance situations to optimize all processes at the Cold storage facility.
∎ Support chief operator in management to monitor and ensure operation and maintenance activities taken place smoothly and safely for keeping quality assurance parameters at right setting.
∎ Coordinating with labor contractor / logistic provider for hiring/replacement of resources.
∎ Supervising subordinates/staff and provide them with relevant training on all aspects of the operation.
∎ Monitor main equipment’s and processes of vaporizing and storage-stabilizing regarding potato alteration, inspection, de-frosting and other essential quality control factors periodically and make correct the abnormalities where necessary.
∎ Analysis of monthly accounts variance and overall activities and report to senior management.
∎ Implementing warehouse safety programs that specifically apply to cold storage.
∎ Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders and engage in development activities through the program.
∎ Any responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to work shifts, overtime in-season/ Harvesting Season
∎ Having sound knowledge of operational requirements applicable to logistics industry
∎ Sound knowledge of the best Cold Storage / Warehouse practices of the industry.
∎ Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
∎ Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds.
∎ Must have to skill of multitasking.
∎ Must have to work under pressure.
