Job Overview:
BFC is looking for a passionate and experienced Coffee & Beverage Chef to lead our coffee and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will combine creativity in menu innovation with operational excellence, ensuring consistent quality across all the outlets. This role also includes training and mentoring staff, maintaining high standards, and introducing innovative beverages that delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Innovation & Creativity
- To Develop and introduce new coffee and beverage recipes, including specialty coffees, shakes, mocktails, and other signature drinks.
- Experiment with trends, flavors, and presentation to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- To Collaborate with marketing and product teams for seasonal and promotional beverage offerings.
Operations & Quality Control
- To Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of beverages across all outlets.
- To Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- To Monitor inventory, manage wastage, and optimize cost efficiency.
- Ensure that the equipment is maintained and functioning optimally.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of baristas and beverage staff.
- To Conduct regular training sessions on beverage preparation, hygiene, and service standards.
- Implementation of SOPs and ensure staff compliance.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Maintaining a high standard of service and beverage quality to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and implement improvements where needed.
