Responsibilities & Context:
1 Planning & Design
Prepare design plans for buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and other infrastructure.
Use engineering software (AutoCAD, STAAD, etc.) to create drawings and layouts.
Analyze survey reports, maps, and environmental data.
2. Site Supervision
Monitor construction activities on-site.
Ensure work is done according to approved drawings and specifications.
Supervise workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
3. Project Management
Prepare project schedules and timelines.
Estimate costs, materials, and labor requirements.
Ensure projects are completed within budget and deadline.
4. Quality Control
Check construction materials (cement, sand, steel, etc.).
Ensure safety standards and building codes are followed.
Conduct inspections and testing.
5. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with architects, clients, and government authorities.
Prepare progress reports and documentation.
Solve technical problems during construction.
6. Safety Management
Ensure safety rules are followed on site.
Identify risks and prevent accidents.
