Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Child Protection Specialist will support partner NGOs in implementing protection related projects.
∎ S/he will be responsible for monitoring programme quality, documentation and dissemination of innovations and good practices.
∎ S/he will contribute to policy research and advocacy on protection through networking and collaboration with relevant civil society organisations, duty bearers and other institutions at district level.
∎ The Specialist will also be accountable for providing technical assistance and appropriate monitoring and evaluation in emergency responses.
∎ Most of his/her activities are in the Plan International's programme areas located in certain sub-districts and districts.
∎ He/she will work with SMCs, local government, partner NGOs and different key community groups including children and youth to implement planned program through partner organisation.
∎ S/he needs to work at district level for organizing advocacy events on behalf of Plan International.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4-5 years' experience with partners in implementing child protection projects with demonstrated skills in providing technical inputs for addressing child marriage, domestic violence, child labour and the result chain of projects.
