Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mobilize a potential adolescent to set-up and maintain adolescent support group with provision of gender balance and culture appropriated or linked them with the existing youth group
∎ Engage with community to set-up and maintain child protection group with provision of gender balance, diversity and cultural appropriated or linked with the existing community groups
∎ Conduct awareness sessions to promote child right, child protection and other issue arise in camps and host communities
∎ Conduct training/ workshop on child protection, child abuse, early marriage, child labour and trafficking to adolescent group and child protection group
∎ Document all training sessions showing participant number and session evaluation report achievement, difficulties, and way forward to report to child protection officer weekly
∎ Document number of appropriated referring vulnerable children by child protection group and adolescent group to access to service providers and report daily to child protection case management officer
∎ Maintain good coordination/ collaboration with other RI staffs and partner
∎ Ensure recognized international best practices and Relief International policies are applied in the work with women, girls and vulnerable persons
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience working with NGO in Cox's bazar is preferable
∎ Basic knowledge of child protection, gender sensitivity, participatory approach.
∎ Excellent skill on community mobilization, creative and diplomacy
∎ Good knowledge of local context, strongly preferred
∎ Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and support unexpected task.
∎ Enthusiasm to learn
∎ Optimistic and friendly
∎ Flexibility
∎ Excellent communication skill in Bangali and Rohingya
∎ Good command in English, an asset
