Job Context:
∎ As CP Case Management Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing of CP case management and ensure maintain of confidential filing system. You will provide guidance on case management to community volunteer caseworkers and provide direct support to complicated cases.
∎ Reporting to: CP Case Management Coordinator
∎ Department: Protection
∎ Expected Start Date: January 1, 2020.
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify capacity building needs training for community volunteers caseworkers
∎ Organize weekly case management supervision and coaching with community volunteer workers
∎ Ensure each child is able to access the necessary services (medical, nutrition, police, legal, etc.) via the referral pathway.
∎ As needed (especially in cases of separated or unaccompanied children), provide appropriate dignity or comfort items to affected children.
∎ Conduct family tracing to reunite children separated from their parents or other relatives, which may include liaising with local authorities and/or other child protection agencies operating.
∎ Entry data and ensure quality of case management data through CPIMS+ system
∎ Report to Child Protection Case Management Coordinator any identified trends or common risks, and recommend steps to address or mitigate them where possible.
∎ Identify any issues with the referral pathway and work with RI's CP staff and local authorities to address them.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the CPA to strengthen our relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
∎ Work with the child protection team to ensure close links between case management and our work with community based child protection mechanism
∎ Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families
∎ Submit weekly case management reports and ensure that information is kept up to date
∎ Coordinate with other agencies offering case management services to children on referral and transfer of cases
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience working with NGO in Cox's Bazar is preferable
∎ Extensive experience working in child protection programming or relevant experiences
∎ Extensive experience in CP case management
∎ Strong background and skills in facilitating trainings, coaching and mentoring others
∎ Familiarity with CP minimum standard
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
∎ Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels, taking into account cultural and language difficulties

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.

∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
