Job Context:
∎ You have to establish BHSH’s brain-child to research, formulate, develop and implementation “an innovative model of health care management & service delivery integrated system” which would be developed novel and scientific approaches to increase the availability, affordability and quality of healthcare network to the Bangladeshi poor to rich & rural to urban patient equally through the greater adoption and use of digital smart technology by professionals, patients and their families from a “Patient-Centered Medical Home” (PCMH), for “Comprehensive and Holistic Care” with complete satisfaction and retention.
∎ Running regular checks on network and data security; Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and system; Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation; Designing training programs and workshops for staff.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop goals and strategies to ensure the IT department runs smoothly and effectively.
∎ Monitor changes in the technology sector to discover the ways the company can improve and develop.
∎ Provide leadership to IT specialist and other staff within the company.
∎ Supervise the networks and computer systems in the company to ensure optimal performance.
∎ Troubleshoot data, hardware and software related issues and establish regular maintenance.
∎ Developing and overseeing the IT budget.
∎ Developing IT policies, procedures and best practices.
∎ Overseeing contract negotiation with IT vendors, contractor and service providers.
∎ Explaining to the authority and executives the benefits and risk of new IT related projects.
∎ Analyze the cost, value and risk of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
∎ Direct and organize IT related projects.
∎ Building process for data protection and quality and QA.
∎ Ensure possess and functions with current system and ERP applications.
∎ Train up local people under your supervision.
∎ Managing overall system solution and design system architecture.
∎ Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, system, network, server and others equipment.
∎ Running regular check on network and data security.
∎ Managing day-to-day operations of the IT department.
∎ Assessing new technologies and system enhancement as per needs.
∎ Partnering with peers.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years

∎ Working experience in Hospital IT department.
∎ Experience in implementation and managing ERP/ HMS.
∎ Understanding of modern database and information system technologies.
∎ Highly analytical mind set with superb problem-solving skill.
∎ Outstanding communication and presentation skill.

∎ Strategic and Business mindset.
∎ Background in planning, designing and developing IT system.
∎ Impeccable IT knowledge and technical skills.
∎ A minimum of 5- plus years as a successful IT leader at tertiary care corporate hospitals or other complex healthcare organisation.
∎ Experienced Information Technology Leader in a multi-tenant, multi-site, health system.
∎ Demonstrated past successes with implementing - EMR, Computerised Physician Order Entry systems, improving customer satisfaction, innovative advanced technology, fiscal performance, and clinical quality achievement (JCI, NABH).
