Job Context:
∎ Group of Company, a reputable and highly regarded business conglomerate in Chattogram, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the position of "Chief Finance Officer -Finance & Accounts".
∎ The position is accountable for the growth & control of the entire Division by effectively managing financial accounting, Management Accounting, Budgeting and Internal Controls, Banking, Taxation, and VAT, in terms of Accounts & Financial operations smoothly.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate will plan and direct the accounting activities of the department.
∎ Oversee the development, and implementation that assists in enhancing short-range and long-range financial stability.
∎ Overall responsibilities of management reporting covering all financial aspects.
∎ Collaborate with senior management team on organizational planning and decision making.
∎ Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
∎ Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
∎ Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
∎ Ensure compliance of all accounting processes to that of the organization's goals.
∎ Follow-up on timely month-end account closing activities, board presentations, audited financials and deal with external auditors for quarterly/annual financial audit.
∎ Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years

∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
∎ Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
