Sweater Factory
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sweater Factory Cost Management, Cost Budgeting & Planning.
∎ Oversee and maintain the general accounting functions, including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and taxes an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
∎ Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
∎ Supervises and participates in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
∎ Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
∎ Supervise and manage general ledger accounting functions
∎ Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
∎ Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
∎ Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
∎ Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
∎ Maintains historical records by filing documents.
∎ Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
∎ Reviews financial statements with management personnel.
∎ Manages the deployment and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
