Work Station: Sreepur/ Gazipur
Responsibilities:
Development:
Develop, Improve & customize product, production support and Process validation.
Set up/revise and established quality plan for new & existing products as per market requirement.
Scale up new product from lab scale to production scale and process development.
Quality Assurance of Raw Materials:
Inspect and test raw materials (e.g., oils, fragrances, emulsifiers) to ensure compliance with specifications.
Set up/revise and established quality plan for new & existing products as per market requirement.
Maintain raw material specifications and certificates of analysis (CoA).
In-Process Quality Control:
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Conduct in-process checks like pH, viscosity, stability, and appearance.
Finished Product Testing:
Test final formulations for parameters such as:
Microbial contamination (e.g., bacterial count, preservative efficacy).
Physical properties (e.g., viscosity, texture, color, odor).
Stability (e.g., shelf life, compatibility with packaging).
Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain complete QC documentation: batch records, test reports, CoAs, and non-conformance logs.
Prepare for and support regulatory inspections or audits.
GMP & Hygiene Control:
Ensure the manufacturing environment meets hygiene standards.
Train production staff on cleanliness, hygiene, and QC practices.
Deviation, CAPA, and Complaint Handling:
Investigate product complaints and non-conformances.
Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) based on root cause analysis.
Team Management:
Supervise QC technicians and lab analysts.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab instruments.
Prototype Creation & Testing:
Develop and test prototypes for texture, efficacy, stability, fragrance compatibility, and skin feel.
Adjust formulations based on test feedback.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance:
Ensure formulations comply with regional and international cosmetic regulations.
Conduct or coordinate toxicological assessments, patch tests, and challenge tests (preservative efficacy).
Stability & Compatibility Studies:
Conduct stability testing under different conditions (temperature, light, humidity).
Ensure packaging compatibility (e.g., ingredients do not react with the container).
Trend and Market Analysis:
Monitor global beauty trends, consumer preferences, and ingredient innovations
(e.g., anti-aging, clean beauty, K-beauty).
Translate market demands into new product concepts.
Documentation:
Maintain formulation records, test data, and development reports.
Support dossier preparation for product registration if required.
