Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors or Master's degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulation Development: Develop and optimize PVC compound formulations for use in electric wires and cables. Conduct experiments to test and evaluate the performance of different PVC formulations.
∎ Material Characterization: Utilize analytical techniques to characterize the physical and chemical properties of PVC compounds. Perform tests on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
∎ Research and Literature Review: Stay current with advancements in PVC technology and related materials through literature review. Contribute to the development of new ideas and innovative solutions through research.
∎ Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production staff, and quality control to ensure seamless integration into the manufacturing process. Assist in quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of PVC compounds in production batches.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions. Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong theoretical understanding of polymer chemistry and materials science.
∎ Knowledge of PVC and its applications in the electric wires and cables industry is a plus.
∎ Laboratory experience, including hands-on experience with analytical instruments.
∎ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
