Responsibilities & Context:
Must be Expert in -
- Oversee and coordinate tasks among kitchen staff as the head cook
- Prepare and cook dishes according to daily orders and targets, ensuring consistent quality
- Set up the kitchen with necessary utensils and equipment such as knives, pans, and scales
- Collect all required ingredients based on recipe requirements
- Ensure dishes are presented attractively before serving
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Ensure all food items and kitchen supplies are stored properly
- Regularly check the quality of food ingredients and maintain standards
- Monitor kitchen inventory and request supplies when necessary
- Stay updated on modern cooking techniques and recipes
- Work efficiently under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail
