Job Context:
∎ Jamalpur Recreation Club Limited is inviting applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Professional Chef Baker for Club bakery.
∎ Job Location: Jamalpur

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manages all day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen.
∎ Prepare a wide variety of items such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. using traditional and modern recipes.
∎ Introduce new and exciting dessert items for our members.
∎ Decorate all desserts using different types of icings, toppings etc. and ensure the food presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
∎ Ensure excellent quality, proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
∎ Coordinates with our cooks and co-workers engaged in food preparation.
∎ Ensure necessary compliance in respect of food hygiene and Health and Safety standard and must meeting local standards like BSTI etc.
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned from Management time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years practical working experience in food industry/star Hotels as a Baker or relevant role.
∎ Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
∎ In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles of food preparation and nutrition.
∎ Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
∎ Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
