Job Context:
∎ Women`s Protection Support for Myanmar Refugees and Host Communities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
∎ The Case Worker role is to provide direct case management through providing age-appropriate case management services to female and adolescent GBV survivors, including supporting them in assessing and planning for safety, assessing their own needs and developing a plan to address their individual needs and safely implementing this plan; support to clients in pursuing services from other service providers as per survivor`s wishes.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until November 17, 2022
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct Case Management in line with the defined six-step process and in compliance with the principles, criteria, budgets and timeframes defined in the Case Management SOP.
∎ Submit relevant CM reports to Case Manager in line with the Case Management SOP.
∎ Implement information management according to the CM Information Management protocols
∎ Support CM in developing and ensuring effective referral mechanisms and pathways with partner agencies
∎ Conduct mapping of services in the target area
∎ Assist in identify and report trends and risks that Community Women and adolescent girls face in the camps and recommend next steps to address any emerging risks and issues.
∎ Support outreach volunteers to succeed in their roles through close supervision, mentoring and coaching
∎ Provide services to adolescent girl survivors of GBV, including case management, age appropriate engagement and decision-making by survivors, Do No Harm analysis, and safety planning
∎ Provide group psychosocial support to women and girls; facilitate sessions focused on building awareness of different themes related to their wellbeing, safety planning, and deliver key messages on GBV
∎ Assist in organizing Case conference if needed.
∎ Provide essential information on available services and support survivors in navigating the referral pathways and accessing services
∎ Lead age-appropriate and specialized group emotional services for adolescent girls through identified or established safe spaces.
∎ Identify concerns related to and support adherence to GBV referral protocols and GBV guiding principles and bring these concerns to the GBV Response Officer.
∎ Develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders including community leaders and other humanitarian partners and service providers.
∎ Document all program and beneficiary's activity in an accurate and timely manner using standardized tools and forms.
∎ Complete periodical activity reports, according to guidance provided by the GBV Case Manager.
∎ Respect confidentiality regarding the context of case management intervention, except when exchanging information with other team members to draw joint action plans in the best interest of the beneficiaries.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in true-spirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including WaSH and protection (GBV, Child, Case Management) intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation. Ability to work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude and fluent in local (Cox’s Bazar) language.
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
