Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Case worker will report to Adolescent and youth center manager. S/He has to maintain a functional relationship with Case Management Officer, Adolescent Girls Shine Officer, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
∎ This is a project based position. Place of posting of this position is in Bashan Char, Hatia, Noakhali.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibilities and Task
∎ Some of the duties and responsibilities of a Caseworker include beneficiary selection, session facilitation, coordination with community level stakeholder, door to door visit, outreach session and other essential servicer. Here are some of the daily duties of a Caseworker:
∎ Daily visit Youth Center sites to collect the attendance sheet, monitor implementation of schedule program and report back to the Case Management Officer and Youth Centre Manager
∎ Conduct the Girl Shine, CoC session and group activities.
∎ Select beneficiary by ensuring quality and standard of project target to age and vulnerability type.
∎ Interviewing with adolescent’s girl and women to assess their situational needsRegular follow the security check to assess safety and security concerns and monitoring visits between at-risk of beneficiaries.
∎ Case Worker will be responsible for operating KoBo toolbox system and must submit her report with KoBo system timely manner
∎ Maintain communication and coordination with community level stakeholders to ensure their maximum participation in the project interventions
∎ Case worker will be responsible for case management of her Youth Centre (YC) with maintaining safety security of the survivors as per guiding principles of the organization
∎ Develop regular session plans (Girl shine, CoC, Caregiver curricula, Skills development activities like reusable pad production, Awareness information sessions and basic services are also linked with other cluster/sector partners. Diversity in terms of topics: MHM, GBV, RH, Health, Awareness etc.)
∎ Motivating individuals to participate in group sessions activity in Adolescents & Youth Centre (A&YC).
∎ Monitoring visits between graduated girl shine, CoC and caregiver.
∎ Liaison with other service providers to ensure that their activities of information, humanitarian assistance and service are also channeled through the Adolescents & Youth Centre (A&YC) to the extent possible.
∎ Serving as a liaison between the referral services on MHM, GBV, RH, Health, legal service, awareness, Skills development, Livelihoods (linkage), Nutrition (linkage) etc.
∎ Collaborate in the development of curricula, tools and other resources for the Girl Shine & Champion of Change program.
∎ Design and implement activities personalized to age and vulnerability type.
∎ Identify delivery methods and languages that make activity content accessible to all members.
∎ Follow the SOP of Girl Shine and CoC program and ensure that activities are custom-made to the context.
∎ Gather & review the feedback on activities, schedule and methodologies used.
∎ Support IEC material development.
∎ Provide support to colleagues in relation to material, administrative and logistical needs to enable their work efficiently.
∎ Prepare weekly, bi-weekly reports and monthly as well for partner and sectoral use of the IMHM program.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of PSEA, safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of PSEA, safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Prepare and share the weekly and monthly plan
∎ Providing support, guidance, and counsel to families in need.
∎ Filing and maintaining case history reports
∎ Determining which services and assistance are necessary
∎ Ensuring that case reports are kept up to date.
∎ Reviewing and modifying plans as circumstances change of the beneficiary
∎ Developing a plan of action to improve the well-being of beneficiary
∎ Planning regular follow-up to assess progress and additional need
∎ Assessing cases and compiling case reports containing relevant information.
∎ Reporting abuse.
∎ Case worker will be sharing information followed the information sharing protocol (ISP) of the project
∎ Provide frequent feedback/updates to central administration.
∎ Any other tasks required by management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Case management experience preferred
∎ Excellent crisis intervention and case management skills
∎ Must be socially perceptive to work with individuals who have difficulty expressing their needs.
∎ Knowledge of crisis-intervention methodologies.
∎ Proven coordination skills to connect individuals/families with relevant services.
∎ Ability to compromise, negotiate, and work well with others
∎ Ability to work under pressure and strong time management skills to meet both short-term and long-term objectives.
∎ Strict adherence to humanitarian and Protection principles and standards, as well as organizational policies including Code of Conduct and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).
∎ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 48000 - 50732 (Monthly)
∎ Including a 20% hardship allowance.
