Responsibilities & Context: Community Development Centre (CODEC) is an inheritor of DANIDA Bangladesh derived from couple of project intervention explicitly DANIDA Boat Building Project and Boat Rental Scheme. CODEC has been working as a people centered development organization since 1985. CODEC has been growing and evolving into efficient and effective non-governmental development organization in the coastal area of Bangladesh. From the beginning of its development intervention, CODEC started its activities only with the fisherfolk communities but over the period CODEC now extended its working area with other disadvantaged coastal communities along with the fisherfolk community.CODEC has been growing and evolving into efficient and effective non-governmental development organization in the coastal area of Bangladesh. Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the following positions from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for “Strengthening the protective environment for children, adolescents and youth in the refugee camps and host communities in Cox's Bazar Project (CODEC-UNICEF CP Project)" funded by UNICEF Bangladesh located at Ukhiya and Teknaf:
Responsibilities:
- Identify vulnerable children, girls, boys, women who need CP and GBV case management support.
- Conduct child protection rapid assessment and GBV assessment to provide necessary support.
- Prepare and update individual CP and GBV case management file, CPIMS+ and GBVIMS+.
- Prepare and update referral pathway and circular it to MPC and LCs.
- Update profile of children and Case Management CP and GBV file at MPC.
- Intensive communication with children’s family, CBCPC, CiC office and other social actors related to child protection and referral services.
- Assist in availing amenities provided by local GoB, NGO, and other service providers.
- Organize different psychosocial activities at working area.
- Organize and arrange MPC based simulative and recreational activities (Peer Group Session, CBCPC meeting, Positive Parents Meeting, Youth group meeting and so on).
- Responsible for CP and GBV case management, refer and follow up of identified vulnerable children, girls, boys.
- Responsible to conduct MPC operation in absence of MPC Coordinator.
- Any other task given by the project management.
