∎ The Project:
∎ Plan International Bangladesh is implementing a project on Joint Action for Nutrition Outcome. Under this Joint Action for Nutrition Outcome (JANO) project, Plan International Bangladesh will work with the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) at the national, regional and local levels, to support the effective implementation of the National Plan of Action for Nutrition (NPAN). This will work at multiple levels of local government institutions, specifically with the educational institutions focusing on strengthening school platform in delivering nutritional messages & information along with demonstration of practices that will increase nutritional practices for both school level and community levels. The project will facilitate developing solutions emerging from schools and its students. This project will replicate proven best practices and take to scale innovative local governance models for better nutrition. The project intends to impact on several of the core challenges faced by two districts in North-West region of Bangladesh and Rangpur districts.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The ideal candidate should have minimum three years of relevant working experience in development organisation along with understanding of basic techniques, strategies & tools to advance social justice campaigns targeting a range of key audiences. Familiar with Health, Hygiene, Nutrition, Gender, SRHR issues in Bangladesh country context with sound knowledge on constantly shifting political, economic, social, tech and media trends and dynamics of relevant to effective campaigning. Experience in community organising, public mobilisation especially engaging young people and/ or working with social movements for change. Strategic thinking and trend analysis with strong knowledge of human rights and gender justice. Excellent facilitation skills together with highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiation skills is a must.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly consolidated salary range for this role is Tk. 100,000.00 to Tk. 110,000.00 (may vary based on experience) along with other benefits i.e., Life Insurance and Hospitalization Benefit and Festival Bonus.
